Rules and Regulations

All films screened should be in DCP or BluRay format. Any other format could be converted into DCP by Zawya at an extra fee.

Rentals are subject to availability. It is advisable to secure the date a minimum of four weeks in advance.

All food and beverage sales are retained by Zawya Cinema’s cafeteria. Catering for private receptions by outside vendors can be arranged by the renter but must be approved in advance.

As long as your event is open to the public, Zawya Cinema will aim to promote the event through its facebook page depending on space of posts available at the time. Such promotion is subject to availability and not a guarantee.

Renters must provide contact details that can be made public in the event of questions from our customers

Zawya Cinema can secure film rights from distributors on your behalf. Renters will be charged for Zawya Cinema’s services in securing the rights, as well as fees associated with the rental process, including but not limited to screening and shipping fees.

Zawya Cinema’s staff will meet with the renter once for a technical test, other additional meetings will be subject to availability.

Zawya Cinema reserves the right to play up to 10 minutes of upcoming film trailers and events before your rental.
