Hybrid Reels

Zawya is pleased to invite you to its event “Hybrid Reels: Revisiting the Documentary” which will be taking place between 6- 26 May. As our first curatorial tribute to the genre of non fiction, Hybrid Reels will showcase more than 20 films made between 1922- 2015. The films are grouped into three sections, Narratives (6-12 May) Anthropology on the Screen/Beginnings (15-17 May) and finally, Highlights (20-26 May). Within these three sections and in addition to the screenings there will be a variety of talks, discussions and masterclasses. More details regarding the dates and times of the discussions will be announced soon.
